Unified Platform for Seamless Visitor Experience
Tyler Technologies announced a partnership with Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) to implement a modern reservation system. This initiative aims to streamline park bookings for over one million annual visitors to Tasmania’s parks.
Modernizing Park Reservations
The new system will consolidate more than a dozen existing platforms into Tyler’s Recreation Management solution, providing a unified platform for booking camping spots and activities. Visitors will benefit from a seamless and efficient booking experience.
Sascha Ohler, Senior Vice President of Tyler’s Outdoor Recreation, emphasised, “Modern, unified technology is essential to delivering the kind of seamless experiences today’s park visitors expect.” The park system will enhance visitor interactions and streamline operations.
This platform will replace outdated IT systems and manual processes, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency for park staff. It will also offer a mobile-friendly interface, making it easier for visitors to book and manage their park experiences.
Madeleine Ogilvie, Acting Minister for Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service, stated, “The new platform will deliver a single contemporary, mobile-friendly system for booking and managing PWS products.” This innovation is expected to improve service delivery to park visitors.
Located approximately 150 miles south of the Australian mainland, Tasmania is an island state with a population of roughly 576,000. The parks attract over a million visitors annually, making a modern booking system crucial for efficient management.
