Voulez Vodka was developed with Anther Distillery in Geelong
Melbourne-based vodka brand Voulez Vodka has entered the Victorian spirits market, developed in collaboration with Geelong distiller Anther Distillery. The release combines French-led brand direction with locally sourced Australian ingredients and small-batch production methods.
Founded by French-born entrepreneur Tamara Craig, the brand has been produced through a partnership with Anther Distillery. The Geelong facility contributes technical distillation processes and oversees production using locally sourced potatoes and Australian wheat.
The vodka is distilled using a multi-stage process that begins with a potato spirit. This base is cooked, fermented and distilled before being blended with a wheat distillate. The combined liquid is then distilled again to achieve the final profile.
According to the production process, filtration is not used. Instead, the quality of the raw ingredients is relied upon to maintain clarity and consistency in the final product. This approach aims to preserve the original characteristics of both potato and wheat inputs.
The final spirit has been described as textural with a smooth profile and a clean finish. It has been developed for use across standard vodka serves, including martinis and simple pours.
The brand positioning references both French cultural influence and Australian manufacturing. Design elements draw on fashion and lifestyle themes, while production remains centred in Victoria.
“I was raised on what I like to call three Cs — couture, champagne and croissants,” says founder Tamara Craig. “It’s brought me an innate understanding of elegance and of course, a touch of French ‘je ne sais quoi’, so that each bottle is more than simply a spirit to enjoy, but an experience to bask in and toast life’s defining moments.”

Production partnership and formulation
Anther Distillery manages the technical distillation process and operates as a small-batch producer based in Geelong. The distillery has contributed process design and quality control throughout the development phase.
The vodka has been developed under the guidance of lead chemist Dervilla McGowan. The formulation process combines analytical precision with iterative distillation adjustments to achieve the final profile.
The collaboration reflects a hybrid production model where brand development and product manufacturing operate across different expertise areas. While the brand direction is led externally, distillation remains localised within Victoria.
The product has been released as a limited batch. Distribution is expected to target premium venues and select retail channels aligned with high-end spirits positioning.
Ingredient sourcing remains focused on Australian supply chains. Both potato and wheat inputs are sourced locally, supporting domestic agricultural producers while maintaining consistency in production.
The release adds to Victoria’s growing portfolio of craft spirits, particularly within the vodka category, which has seen increased activity from small-scale distillers in recent years.
