Kiwi liqueur launches as the fourth flavour by Tommy’s Booze
Tommy’s Booze has released its fourth flavour, introducing a limited-edition Kiwi liqueur to its range of Italian-style spirits. The new product adds a sweet and sour profile, expanding a lineup that already includes Limoncello, Mandarino and Lampone.
The Melbourne-based brand, founded by hospitality operators Tom Giurioli and Dan Leuzzi, produces liqueurs using real fruit and a simplified ingredient process. The duo also operates Freddy’s Pizza in Windsor, which has contributed to the brand’s local recognition.
The Kiwi liqueur contains four ingredients: kiwi, pure alcohol, water and sugar. As a result, the production method aligns with the company’s existing approach, which focuses on minimal ingredients and fruit-driven flavour. The final product presents a fresh and slightly tangy profile designed for cocktails, spritz serves or chilled consumption.
“Our original three flavours have been around for a while now, and we felt the range was ready for something new,” says co-founder Tom Giurioli. “Tommy’s has always been about doing things a little differently, so we went back to the lab and started experimenting with new fruits. Kiwi immediately jumped out; it fit right in, and it’s not something you really see in liqueurs. I had a pretty good feeling about it from the start, and judging by the reaction, I’d say that call was right.”
The release follows the brand’s growth from a small-scale operation into a nationally stocked product line. Initially, the concept began with a traditional limoncello recipe, which later expanded into multiple fruit variations using a consistent production method.

Cocktail competition announced alongside Kiwi liqueur
To coincide with the launch, Tommy’s Booze has announced the Tommy’s Kiwi Cocktail Competition. Bartenders across Australia are invited to submit original cocktails using the new liqueur and share their entries via Instagram.
Selected finalists will compete at a live event hosted at Freddy’s Pizza in Windsor on Sunday, 12th April. During the event, participants will present their cocktails to a panel of judges in front of an industry audience.
The competition winner will receive return flights to Italy. In addition, the event will include food and drinks, with the final structured as a live showcase of submitted entries.
Tommy’s Kiwi Liqueur is available for a limited time through selected stockists and via the brand’s official website.
This publication does not promote excessive alcohol consumption; readers are encouraged to drink responsibly and in accordance with Australian laws.
