Cocktail Day event runs 24th to 28th March at DOLLY
DOLLY at Le Méridien Melbourne will present a limited cocktail menu from Tuesday, 24th March to Saturday, 28th March 2026 to mark National Cocktail Day. The five-day offering introduces a six-cocktail collection titled Postcards From France. The menu draws on locations across France, including Bordeaux, Saint-Tropez, the Alps and Paris.
The release confirms each cocktail reflects a specific setting and time of day. These include early evening in Bordeaux, harbour nights in Saint-Tropez, après-ski in the Alps and late-night Paris. In addition, each drink is paired with a recommended dish from DOLLY’s dinner menu.
The concept positions the menu as a sequence of drinks across an evening. As a result, guests move from apéritif through to a final round, guided by both cocktail and food pairings. The menu will be available for five nights only.
Highlights from the collection include the Lillet Spritz, which reflects early evening in Bordeaux. Coastal Drift references Riviera settings, while Alpine Bloom draws from après-ski moments in Chamonix. Meanwhile, Le Boulevard Noir represents Paris nightlife, and a French Martini aligns with dinner service continuing into the evening.
Each cocktail is priced at $18, with a reduced price of $15 for Marriott Bonvoy members. The pricing applies across the full six-cocktail menu during the event period.
Menu structured around a multi-course evening flow
The structure of the menu follows a chronological progression of a night out. First, lighter drinks appear at the start of service, aligned with early dining. Then, mid-range cocktails accompany main courses and shared plates. Finally, late-night drinks conclude the sequence.
Each cocktail is matched with a suggested dish from the venue’s dinner menu. Consequently, the pairing format supports a full dining experience rather than a standalone drinks offering. The release notes that this approach aligns with extended evening service.
The menu is positioned within DOLLY’s existing food and beverage offering at Le Méridien Melbourne. Furthermore, the venue will run the menu exclusively during the specified dates, with no extension indicated beyond 28th March 2026.
The event coincides with National Cocktail Day and forms part of a limited-time activation. The venue will offer the menu across standard service hours during the five days.
