Blade v10 introduces new control and power technologies across eight models

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. has announced the release of its latest performance tennis racket, Blade v10, marking 20 years since the Blade franchise was first introduced. The new model is designed to deliver control and responsive impact for aggressive play, with updates aimed at improving consistency under pressure.

The Blade v10 will be used by several top-ranked players, including Aryna Sabalenka, Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva, Vicky Mboko and Jakub Menšík. The release represents a major update to the Blade series, which has been in use by professional players for more than two decades.

Aryna Sabalenka said, “I have been playing with Wilson’s Blade rackets since I was 15; we have seen a lot of wins together, which makes the relationship between an athlete and their racket extremely special.” She added, “The Blade v10 gives me everything that is important for me in a racket– confidence, control and the ability to compete as aggressively as possible. It was fun to test the prototype versions over the last few months, and I am excited to finally compete with v10.”

The Blade v10 introduces new technology aimed at increasing power and improving stability. TurboTaper technology has been developed to enhance beam performance, allowing players to generate more power when hitting through opponents. In addition, StableFeel+ technology improves frame stability, which supports more consistent response during rallies.

The design also focuses on uniformity across all rackets in the range. Each model maintains consistent weight and balance, allowing players to rely on the same feel during competitive play. As a result, the racket supports performance in high-pressure situations while maintaining control.

New design and franchise upgrades

The Blade v10 builds on existing features such as the X-Loop design, FortyFive° carbon construction and DirectConnect handle. These elements have been retained while the overall structure has been refined to improve responsiveness. Furthermore, the updated frame aims to allow players to transition from defence to offence more effectively.

The racket also introduces a new visual design. It features a Championship Green colourway combined with an infrared hotspot detail. Additional updates include embossed muscle lines and a matching green replacement grip.

Jason Collins, Global General Manager of Racquet Sports at Wilson, said, “The Blade franchise has been one of the most trusted rackets on tour, and we have been hard at work innovating to deliver the best version for today’s evolving game.” He added, “Our main goal at Wilson is to always provide the top, cutting-edge equipment to our athletes, and we are confident the Blade v10 represents a significant upgrade, making it easier than ever to control the court.”

The Blade v10 is available in eight models, including Blade 98 in both 16×19 and 18×20 string patterns, as well as Blade 100 and Blade 104. Prices range from $199.95 to $449.95. The launch also includes a range of accompanying bags, including the Super Tour 15 pack, 9 pack, backpack and duffle.
