Platform links 44 resource pools across 19 regions
China’s 2026 Xiong’an Forum of the China Computational Power Conference launched the Xiong’an International Computing Power Integrated Scheduling Centre and established the Xiong’an Computing Power Alliance.
Organisers held the forum recently at the Langfang Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Innovation and Application Centre in Langfang, China. Its theme was “Future Industries Empowering the Future City”.
Representatives from government, industry, academia, research and application sectors joined talks on innovation pathways for the computing power industry. Major achievements in the sector were also released at the event.
Among them were the first batch of new computing power products, typical application scenarios for computing power in the Future City, and an integrated construction system for computing-network convergence.
Meanwhile, industry experts and corporate technical leaders discussed digital infrastructure in the Token era, scenario-based intelligent applications, and integrated operation of computing, network and security.
They also exchanged views on what organisers called a sustained intelligent foundation, while sharing technological achievements and industrial practice.
44 resource pools span eight hubs
Xiong’an New Area says it follows a full-chain development approach that is independent and controllable. Using the Xiong’an Urban Computing Centre, it has built what it calls a city-level computing system.
According to Xiong’an New Area, the Xiong’an International Computing Power Integrated Scheduling Platform connects 44 computing resource pools across 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Those links cover all eight national computing power hubs: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Chengdu-Chongqing, Gansu and Ningxia.
In addition, the platform works with national computing power interconnection regional nodes to support unified aggregation and intelligent scheduling of computing resources.
As a result, Xiong’an aims to build a computing power hub that coordinates Hebei, radiates across the country and reaches the world.
Xiong’an New Area also tied the forum to progress in computing infrastructure construction, industrial ecosystem cultivation and policy system development. The organisation did not disclose investment figures or a start date for the new centre’s operations.
