Nationwide Pride Celebrations Begin in Bangkok

Thailand’s largest Pride movement is spearheaded by Central Pattana, uniting communities across the nation in June 2026 under the theme “WE ARE MANY.” This initiative aligns with Thailand’s ambition to host WorldPride 2030, solidifying its status as a leading inclusive destination in Asia.

Bangkok hosts the kickoff celebration with two major events: “centralwOrld, PROUD TO BE PRIDE 2026” and “Central Park, THE ART OF SELF 2026.” A spectacular rainbow installation, covering over 4,000 square meters, transforms the city centre into a vibrant stage. Cultural storytelling is enhanced by the panOramix digital screen.

Known as Thailand’s ‘Pioneer of Equality,’ Central Pattana aims to reinforce the country’s standing as an inclusive global destination. Pride events will spread to Central shopping centers throughout Thailand, featuring live performances, wellness activities, and community-driven experiences.

Major Events Highlight Unity

Two of Thailand’s largest City Pride Parades will occur on 27 June in Phuket and Pattaya. Communities, visitors, and local partners will join these parades, showcasing the expanding scope of Thailand’s Pride movement. The events highlight the nation’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

As the movement progresses from Bangkok, Central shopping centers across every region of Thailand will host Pride events throughout June. Public spaces become vibrant platforms for celebration, creativity, and community engagement. Central Pattana continues to create meaningful opportunities for people from all backgrounds to unite and express their authentic selves.

These initiatives provide vibrant platforms for community engagement and creativity. They encourage people from all backgrounds to express their authentic selves, fostering an environment of acceptance and celebration.

Thailand’s role as a global destination strengthens as the Pride movement grows in scale and impact. The focus on diversity, creativity, and inclusion is evident in the wide range of activities and events planned throughout the month, reflecting the country’s commitment to equality.
