Event on 5th August coincides with national parks inquiry
NSW Parliament House in Sydney will host a screening of Dingo: Heart of the Snowy Mountains on Wednesday 5th August 2026 as the New South Wales parliamentary inquiry into dingo management in national parks gets underway.
Humane World for Animals, Defend the Wild and Dingo Culture will stage the event at 12:30 pm at 6 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
Organisers will use the gathering to call on parliamentarians to protect dingoes in national parks and to highlight their ecological, cultural and conservation significance in New South Wales.
According to the event programme, attendees will see two short films and hear presentations from First Nations cultural custodians and conservation advocates.
