Hino Dealer Awards Honor Leading Australian Dealerships

CMI Hino Adelaide and Newcastle Hino Among Top Honorees

SYDNEY — Hino Australia has announced the winners of its 2025 Dealer of the Year Awards, celebrating the achievements of CMI Hino Adelaide and Newcastle Hino. The awards were held in Sydney, recognizing dealerships for excellence in sales, parts, service, and customer satisfaction.

CMI Hino Adelaide was named Metropolitan Dealer of the Year for the sixth time, also securing awards for Sales Excellence, Parts Excellence, and Service Excellence in the metro category. Newcastle Hino was honored as Regional Dealer of the Year for the fifth time, alongside a Sales Excellence award for the regional category.

Richard Emery, President and CEO of Hino Australia, emphasized the importance of the awards in acknowledging the accomplishments of the dealership network. “Each year, these awards highlight the exemplary performance and dedication of our dealers,” Emery stated.

Award Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony also saw six dealerships, including CMI Hino Adelaide and Newcastle Hino, receive the prestigious President’s Award. Other recipients of this award were Sci-Fleet Hino Gold Coast, Jacob Hino, Sci-Fleet Hino Brisbane, and Prestige Hino Melbourne.

Nathan Chatfield, General Manager of CMI Hino Adelaide, praised his team for their resilience during a challenging year. “This recognition is a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication and professionalism,” Chatfield commented.

Sean Lynch, Dealer Principal for Newcastle Hino, acknowledged the collaborative spirit of the Hino dealer network. “Our success is a result of our team’s hard work and the support from our peers,” Lynch remarked.

In addition to these accolades, the Customer Experience Awards were presented to CMI Hino Melbourne and Canberra Hino, recognizing their commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Christian Geadah from City Hino was named Salesperson of the Year for his exceptional performance.
