IFF and ISIPCA Celebrate 10 Years of Scent Design Programme

International Flavours & Fragrances (IFF) and ISIPCA in Versailles, France, are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their collaborative master’s-level programme in scent design and creation. The programme, launched in 2016, has successfully trained over 180 professionals from 40 countries. Impressively, it boasts a 100% job placement rate for its 130 graduates within six months of graduation, showcasing its effectiveness in preparing students for the fragrance industry.

This innovative programme merges IFF’s rich 135-year creative legacy with ISIPCA’s renowned academic excellence. It provides students comprehensive pathways into fragrance development, marketing, and sales. Candidates are selected based on olfactory ability and academic strength, promoting diversity in fragrance creation.

Graduates excel in various sectors, securing positions at IFF in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. They also find roles in fast-moving consumer goods organisations, demonstrating the programme’s broad impact across the fragrance ecosystem.

Nicholas Salado, general director of ISIPCA, remarked, "The programme trains profiles that combine creativity, olfactory culture and technical expertise. It supports talents that are now fully integrated into the industry, aligned with its evolving challenges and dynamics."
