$15 NFL collection goes on sale from September

Y Series will launch a limited-edition NFL collection across Australia from September 2026, ahead of the league’s first regular season game in the country.

That game will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 11th September 2026.

NFL-inspired packaging will appear across seven Y Series varietals: Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Lighter Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.

Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Liquorland and independent retailers will stock the range nationally at a recommended retail price of $15.

Hill-Smith Family Estates makes Y Series and holds the title of Official Wine Sponsor of the NFL in Australia and New Zealand.

Karl Martin, chief executive of Hill-Smith Family Estates, said the NFL Melbourne game was a huge moment for sports fans and a chance for Y Series to join the celebration.

NFL Kickoff Festival at Melbourne Park

Meanwhile, Y Series will appear at the three-day NFL Kickoff Festival at Melbourne Park from 10th September to 12th September 2026.

Fans at the festival will find limited-edition cans, a photo experience and a Spin to Win activation.

From 1st August to 31st December 2026, shoppers who buy Y Series wines at Dan Murphy’s or BWS can enter a competition to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles.

In addition, the promotion includes 100 instant-win NFL Shop Australia vouchers worth $100 each.

Y Series matched the wines to game day occasions, including Prosecco for a brunch kick-off and Shiraz with barbecue favourites.

Guided by the line “Y for every why”, the brand markets its wines as approachable styles for different occasions.

As a result, the bottle shop launch, festival presence and prize competition all tie into the Melbourne game on 11th September 2026.
