Connecting Merchandising and Media

On June 1, SymphonyAI announced the launch of CINDE Retail Media Intelligence (RMI) from its Palo Alto headquarters. This innovative AI platform is designed to enhance merchandising and media strategies for mid-to-large grocers by integrating merchandising, media, and shopper intelligence into a unified system.

CINDE RMI offers shared visibility between retailers and CPG partners on media dollar movements, trade spend ROI, and gross margin across reset cycles and campaign flights. The platform integrates seamlessly with existing retail media networks, eliminating the need for a full platform migration.

Manish Choudhary, President of Retail at SymphonyAI, stated, “Retail media is the fastest-growing revenue line for grocers, but most retailers are managing it blind. CINDE RMI closes that loop.”

Innovative Capabilities

CINDE RMI delivers six integrated capabilities, including Audience Intelligence for Retail Media and Retail Media Campaign Measurement. These tools enable precise audience segmentation and provide auditable category performance data. The CPG Investment Advisor tool identifies spend gaps and surfaces upsell opportunities aligned to the reset calendar.

The platform features in-store attribution using computer vision, ensuring that media placements are executed as planned. Its AI-driven campaign engine autonomously manages campaigns, reducing manual work for media and category teams.

Retail media has become the fastest-growing profit line in grocery, with billions of dollars from CPG advertisers flowing through a system where media buyers and merchants often lack synchronized data. CINDE RMI addresses this by providing CPG-credible incrementality validation through third-party measurement integrations.

For mid-to-large grocers, CINDE RMI offers AI-driven incrementality intelligence and media-to-shelf attribution without the complexity of platform migration. CPG advertisers benefit by receiving proof that their media investments enhance in-store category performance, a major hurdle to increasing retail media spend.

SymphonyAI will showcase these capabilities at the NRF APAC event. Sessions will discuss the application of technology in retail transformation, and industry experts will provide insights on how AI can revolutionise retail media strategies.
