Australian Open ticket promotion launches at New Quarter

Australian Open spritz promotion runs from 2nd – 22nd January

From 2nd January to 22nd January, Richmond restaurant New Quarter is running an Australian Open ticket promotion linked to a limited-time spritz menu. The promotion offers diners the chance to win two General Ground Passes for the second week of the tournament.

The prize covers Week Two of the Australian Open, running from 26th January to 1st February. As a result, the winner receives unlimited entry across the seven days, allowing attendance at multiple sessions throughout the week.

Entry is available to guests who order a drink from New Quarter’s Australian Open Spritz Menu. After ordering, diners can scan a QR code displayed in the venue and submit their details. Meanwhile, each qualifying spritz purchase provides one entry.

The draw will take place on Thursday, 22nd January, with the winner announced the same day. However, only entries submitted during the promotional window will be included. Therefore, participation is limited strictly to the January campaign period.

The Australian Open Spritz Menu has been created exclusively for the promotion and follows a classic aperitivo format. Available options include an Aperol Spritz made with Aperol, Prosecco and soda, priced at $22. Meanwhile, a Campari Spritz and a Cynar Spritz are also offered at $22, each paired with Prosecco and soda.

In addition, the menu includes a Sbagliato combining Campari, Carpano Classico and Prosecco, priced at $23. While the drinks act as the entry mechanism, no additional purchases or minimum spend requirements apply. As a result, diners can enter regardless of visit length or dining time.

Australian Open spritz promotion details

New Quarter is located on Swan Street in Richmond and first opened in 2018. In March 2021, the restaurant shifted its focus to modern neo-Vietnamese dining. Since then, the venue has continued operating as a destination restaurant for both local patrons and visitors.

Executive Chef Scott Lord leads the kitchen, delivering contemporary interpretations of Vietnamese-inspired dishes. Meanwhile, the interior design by Ewert Leaf features wicker lighting, cork-topped tables and natural timber finishes. As a result, the dining room transitions from a light-filled daytime space to a darker evening setting.

The promotion coincides with the return of the Australian Open to Melbourne. Therefore, hospitality venues across inner Melbourne often align activations with the tournament period.

However, New Quarter’s Australian Open promotion centres on a single, defined mechanic tied directly to beverage purchases. Meanwhile, the prize structure focuses solely on tournament access rather than bundled dining incentives.

The Australian Open spritz promotion runs exclusively at New Quarter until 22nd January, with the winning entry drawn on the final day.
