On May 1, 2026, Barilla brought Formula 1 drivers and team members together for a surprise family reunion dinner during the Miami Grand Prix weekend. The event celebrated Barilla’s new partnership with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula 1 Team.

The dinner took place at Torno Subito Miami, a restaurant by Chef Massimo Bottura, with Chef Bernardo Paladini leading the kitchen. Guests enjoyed a night of Italian culinary excellence featuring Barilla’s signature pasta dishes.

Originating from Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Barilla and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls share values of excellence, passion, and family spirit. Prominent guests included VCARB’s future champion Arvid Lindblad, Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg, and Olympic champion Mikaela Shiffrin.

A Night of Family and Connection

Barilla arranged for team members’ families to fly to Miami, creating an atmosphere filled with reunion and joy. The event also launched new pasta shapes, Fusilloni and Racing Wheels, developed with Formula 1, which will be available in the US later this year.

Melissa Tendick, President of Barilla Americas, emphasised the event’s significance, saying, “Taking time to come together, even when schedules make it difficult, is at the heart of what we do.” Arvid Lindblad added, “It was such a special evening getting to see everyone come together, where we all switched off and switched on our personal lives.”

Families will stay throughout the race weekend, enjoying activities from Thursday’s dinner to Sunday’s Grand Prix, enhancing the unity and connection that defined the evening.

The special night included a diverse group of guests from the Formula 1 ecosystem, such as engineers, technical partners, broadcast crews, and media members, reflecting those contributing to the sport throughout the season.
