Shoosh for Kids Campaign Launched at Brighton-le-Sands

The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs are teaming up with the NSW Government to combat sideline abuse in children’s sports. This effort is part of the Shoosh for Kids campaign, which officially launched on 20 April 2026 at Brighton-le-Sands Beach.

More than 1,000 sports clubs and associations have joined forces with the Bulldogs and the NSW Office of Sport to promote positive spectator behaviour during this winter sports season. The initiative urges parents and fans to create a supportive environment for young athletes.

Bulldogs players Matt Burton, Kurt Mann, and Harry Hayes participated in the launch event. They were joined by junior players from the Milperra Colts Junior Rugby League Club to share their personal experiences with the importance of sportsmanship.

At noon, the event at Brighton-le-Sands Beach began with footy drills, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. Representatives from the NSW Office of Sport also participated to reinforce the campaign’s message.
