AI and Digital Tools Enhance Productivity
Experian has been recognised as a winner of the 2026 CIO 100 Award by Foundry’s CIO for its transformative use of artificial intelligence and digital tools to enhance productivity and decision-making across its global workforce. Experian’s enterprise workplace transformation integrates AI and modern digital tools, aiming to improve productivity and decision-making by leveraging trusted, well-governed data. The transformation focuses on responsible AI use, ensuring reliable insights through strong data governance and human oversight where appropriate.
Richard Smith, head of event content for the CIO 100 Awards and Conference, noted the award highlights organisations that are not merely maintaining operations but are actively shaping business outcomes. He emphasised the importance of aligning AI, data, security, and cloud capabilities under a unified leadership vision. This year’s winners, according to Smith, reflect the potential of fully aligned technological elements.
AI-Enabled Workforce Transformation
Experian has expanded its use of enterprise-grade AI tools, enabling over 17,000 employees to automate tasks and achieve higher efficiency. This initiative results in more than one million AI-powered interactions each month, significantly enhancing productivity and decision-making capabilities.
Alex Lintner, CEO of Technology and Software Solutions at Experian, stated, “By equipping employees with these capabilities, we’re improving productivity, accelerating decisions, and delivering better outcomes for our customers while advancing as a data- and AI-driven organisation.” The transformation led to onboarding readiness exceeding 90%, with employee satisfaction scores averaging 4.5 or higher. First-call resolution rates have improved to approximately 85%, reflecting the effectiveness of the digital workplace team in delivering a modern, AI-enabled employee experience.
Experian’s cloud-first strategy, implemented in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has enhanced scalability and accelerated AI innovation. This approach contributes to significant cost savings and operational efficiency, aligning with Experian’s broader technology strategy.
The initiative builds on the success of the Experian Ascend Platform™, which supports customer decision-making through advanced machine learning capabilities. This platform exemplifies Experian’s commitment to scaling innovation across its global enterprise, reflecting the potential of aligned technological elements in achieving transformative results. this transformation is expected to deliver considerable cost savings over the next three years, supported by a global operating model.
