Face-to-Face Support Across Multiple Locations

Greater Western Water (GWW) is extending its Customer Care Days program, offering complimentary face-to-face support sessions for customers throughout the City of Yarra, Point Cook, and Werribee during May. This initiative allows customers to address bills and accounts directly with GWW staff in a supportive, personal setting. Sessions are held at convenient community locations including libraries and community centers across GWW’s service area.

General Manager for Customer Experience, Terence Alvares, explained that the programme focuses on providing access to support in the way that works best for customers. “We know many customers value speaking with someone face to face and that some issues are best resolved in person,” he stated.

Event Locations and Schedule

The Customer Care Days are scheduled at multiple venues: Fitzroy North Library hosts sessions on 6th and 9th May, Jamieson Way Community Centre in Point Cook on 11th May, Carlton Library on 13th May, Melton Library and Learning Hub on 20th May, Wyndham Park Community Centre in Werribee on 21st May, Collingwood Library on 29th May, and Richmond Library on 30th May.

Customers are encouraged to register for a session through GWW’s website, although appointments are not required to attend. The programme aims to deliver practical assistance, including help with understanding bills, setting up payment plans, and checking eligibility for concessions. Alvares added, “Our Customer Care Days allow us to listen, work through concerns together, and provide practical, on-the-spot assistance.”

The initiative covers a large area, as GWW operates across 3,700 square kilometers, serving areas from Melbourne’s central business district to Little River in the south, Myrniong in the west, and Lancefield in the north. Greater Western Water, a Victorian Government water corporation, provides essential services like water supply, recycled water, sewerage, and trade waste services to its customers and communities.

For more information and to register for a session, visit GWW’s website. This programme will continue to offer in-person support to customers throughout May, ensuring they receive the help they need. The programme is part of GWW’s ongoing commitment to enhancing customer service and ensuring that support is accessible and effective.
