Amassing 759.10 points from nine qualified rides, Queensland surpassed New South Wales, who achieved 677.50 points from eight rides.

Macaulie Leather from Queensland countered with an 86.25-point performance, while Sam Woodall from the Blues answered with an impressive 87.35 points, maintaining the close contest.

The lead changed multiple times, both teams threw everything at each other, and in the end, it came down to riders standing up under pressure. We’ve never seen scores this close in an Origin opener.”
Next, the series moves to Brisbane on 6th June, coinciding with Queensland Day. Queensland will have the opportunity to secure the series on home soil, while New South Wales aims to level the competition. Tickets for the Brisbane event are available, promising another exhilarating encounter.
