Amassing 759.10 points from nine qualified rides, Queensland surpassed New South Wales, who achieved 677.50 points from eight rides.

Macaulie Leather from Queensland countered with an 86.25-point performance, while Sam Woodall from the Blues answered with an impressive 87.35 points, maintaining the close contest.

The lead changed multiple times, both teams threw everything at each other, and in the end, it came down to riders standing up under pressure. We’ve never seen scores this close in an Origin opener.”
