More Than 880 Participants Expected
Dementia Australia’s Redcliffe Memory Walk & Jog is scheduled for Saturday, 6th June, beginning at 7:30 am at Scarborough Beach Park. Over 880 locals are expected to participate, showing support for those impacted by dementia.
Participants include individuals affected by dementia, along with their families, friends, and carers. Special guests and MCs Pat Welsh and Wally Lewis will host the event. These well-known community figures add excitement to the occasion.
Dementia Australia provides vital information, education, and services to over 446,500 Australians living with dementia. More than 1.7 million people involved in their care benefit from the organisation’s support and resources.
In 2023, Dementia Australia continues to advocate for positive change and support essential research. Their efforts help those affected live as well as possible, raising awareness about the challenges of dementia.
