Affordable Flowers and Meals for Mum

Coles is preparing for its largest floral event of the year, aiming to sell nearly 900,000 flowers and floral gifts ahead of Mother's Day. The supermarket chain offers a variety of gifts, drinks, and meal solutions to help Australians celebrate their mums.

Coles research indicates that 58% of customers plan to spend time with family to celebrate Mother's Day. Meanwhile, 14% are opting to give flowers and 11% are planning a special meal.

Anna Croft, Coles Chief Commercial and Sustainability Officer, remarked, "We know customers are looking for great value and convenience, which is why we've created a range that brings everything together, from flowers and chocolates to easy meals and drinks."

Special Offers on Flowers and Chocolates

Coles offers a range of affordable flowers, including the Pocket Money Posey for $15, Rose Bouquets for $25, and the Beautiful Bouquet for $30. These options cater to various tastes and budgets.

Chocolates remain a popular choice, with Coles offering several products at half price, such as Cadbury Roses 380g for $9 and Ferrero Collection 24 pack for $16.

For those looking to add a personal touch, Coles provides easy at-home ideas, including the Love Heart Mud Cake hack, available on their website and magazine.

Liquorland, in partnership with Coles, offers a 15% discount on wine and Champagne for customers spending $30 or more on Smith Street flowers in-store. This offer is available from 8th to 10th May with a Flybuys card.

Convenient Meal Solutions

Coles is making Mother’s Day entertaining simple with the Made Easy Sweet & Savoury Roasting Box 1.9kg priced at $35 per pack, which is approximately $8.75 per serve. Serving four people, the ready-to-heat meal includes slow-cooked roast beef crusted in garlic, roast potatoes, gravy, and mini choc brownies. It can be enjoyed as is or paired with Mum's favorite sides. This offer is available for a limited time only.

With 45% of customers expecting partners or kids to take on the cooking, Coles ensures that families can spend less time in the kitchen and more time with Mum.

Smith Street Flowers Head Florist Lynne Dallas shared, "We’ve developed a range that has something for every Mum, from classic roses and chrysanthemums to more modern, seasonal bouquets."

Focusing on making Mother's Day special, Coles ensures customers have access to a range of products that allow them to celebrate without breaking the bank.
