AI and Digital Innovation in Transport
FPT, a global technology corporation, and ComfortDelGro, a leading multi-modal transport operator, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on smart mobility and digital innovation across the Asia-Pacific region. The agreement was formalised on 5th June during a ceremony coinciding with the official visit of Vietnamese General Secretary and State President H.E. To Lam in Singapore.
The partnership aims to advance AI-powered operations and next-generation mobility solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and service quality in transport systems. This collaboration merges FPT’s technology expertise with ComfortDelGro’s established strengths in multi-modal transport services.

Strategic Areas of Focus
Key areas of exploration for the partnership include AI-enabled applications in fleet and transport management, predictive maintenance, intelligent asset monitoring, and logistics optimization. Adaptive and scalable solutions will be developed to align with ComfortDelGro’s business priorities and growth markets.
FPT and ComfortDelGro plan to initiate pilot projects, collaborative research, and innovation workshops with public and private sector stakeholders. These efforts aim to foster stronger regional connectivity and drive innovation in the mobility ecosystem.
Since its entry into Singapore in 2007, FPT has expanded across key APAC markets, partnering with over 500 enterprises in sectors such as aviation, logistics, healthcare, and BFSI. The company prioritises AI as a core driver of competitiveness, supported by its AI-first strategy and a global workforce of more than 30,000.
The collaboration is expected to support the development of smarter mobility services and unlock new growth opportunities across Singapore and the wider APAC region. Joint efforts aim to improve operational efficiency, elevate service quality, and drive innovation throughout the mobility and transport ecosystem.
FPT and ComfortDelGro also plan to focus on connected mobility, digital commuter services, and smart transport systems. By leveraging AI and digital platforms, both companies aim to shape the future of urban mobility and logistics.
