Gemini Enterprise Practice to Scale AI Deployment

On June 8, 2023, NTT DATA and Google Cloud announced an expanded collaboration to accelerate the deployment of enterprise AI solutions using Gemini Enterprise.

This partnership combines Google Cloud’s AI, data, and cloud capabilities with NTT DATA’s expertise in strategy, implementation, and managed services. Together, they aim to transition AI projects from pilot phases to full-scale production.

NTT DATA plans to establish a dedicated Gemini Enterprise practice, aiming to certify 5,000 experts globally. This initiative includes co-innovating up to 500 AI agents for diverse industry use cases.

The new practice will accelerate deployment, enhance adoption, and create repeatable paths to business value using Gemini Enterprise. They have developed a joint roadmap to create scalable AI solutions.

Integrated Co-Innovation Teams

NTT DATA and Google Cloud engineers will form integrated teams to work directly with clients on developing and deploying AI solutions at an enterprise scale. These teams will include forward-deployed engineers and industry domain experts.

In real-time, these teams will address complex technical challenges, reducing time-to-value and speeding up production adoption. They will also ensure governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI use.

Abhijit Dubey, CEO of NTT DATA, emphasised the collaboration’s role in helping clients “embed AI into the way their organisations operate.”

This expanded collaboration will benefit industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, and retail by optimising processes and accelerating cloud migration.

Matt Renner, President of Google Cloud, highlighted the rising demand for AI agents, stating, “NTT DATA is ensuring our joint customers have the specialised resources required to deploy sophisticated AI solutions at a global scale.”

This initiative will develop AI agents across various domains, including banking and manufacturing processes, marketing performance, and finance operations. It represents a new model for enterprise AI deployment, merging platform innovation with industry expertise.
