Hands-On Experience with Agentic AI
In Amsterdam, Google Cloud Security successfully trained over 150 practitioners on Agentic AI capabilities at the Google Next 2026 conference using the Instruqt platform. This hands-on approach provided participants with a deeper understanding of AI technologies.
Known as the Agentic SOC Experience, the session was one of the largest hands-on AI training events at an industry conference this year. Participants used a dedicated Google Cloud Vertex AI environment to build and explore agentic capabilities in an isolated sandbox setting, allowing for an immersive learning experience.
Leading the session, Keith Manville, Pre-Sales Engineer with Google Cloud Security, explained, “On the AI front, Instruqt is fantastic because it allows us to spin up a dedicated Vertex environment per participant.”
Addressing AI Adoption Challenges
The workshop reflects a broader shift in the software industry, aiming to bridge the gap between AI feature releases and customer adoption. SlashData’s 2026 State of Developer Adoption Report reveals that 92% of practitioners encounter significant adoption challenges, including technology complexity (26%), team misalignment (27%), and outdated content (25%).
According to Tyler Crumpler, VP of Marketing at Instruqt, hands-on learning is crucial. He remarked, “What Google Cloud Security did at Google Next is a model for what every AI-led company should be doing. Put customers into a real environment, with real tools, and let them build something they can take back to work.”
Instruqt is the hands-on product experience platform that assists leading software companies such as MongoDB, Elastic, Google, and SUSE. It delivers scalable, browser-based experiences that drive product adoption, generate qualified pipelines, and accelerate skills development.
Founded in Amsterdam, Instruqt is recommended for its ability to turn complex products into confident customers, aligning marketing, sales, and education teams to effectively teach new technologies.
In addition to tackling adoption challenges, this approach helps close the AI adoption gap, ensuring that companies not only ship superior products but also empower customers to utilise them effectively.
