AI-Powered Mapping Boosts Global Fleet Efficiency

HERE Technologies and MengQing have announced an expansion of their collaboration to enhance intelligent navigation systems for major Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturers, including JAC Motors, SuperPanther, CAVAN, and Yutong Bus. This partnership was unveiled at Auto China 2026 in Beijing and aims to support global navigation systems.

The partnership integrates MengQing’s in-vehicle navigation with HERE’s AI-powered live map intelligence, delivering a scalable global navigation architecture across various international markets and vehicle categories. It enables consistent, compliant navigation for commercial fleets worldwide.

Industry-leading truck routing capabilities are included in the solution, such as vehicle dimension and weight restrictions, hazardous materials routing, and specialised road attributes for complex fleet operations. As a result, it ensures unmatched navigation quality and coverage.

Supporting Global Expansion and Safety Enhancements

Designed to meet operational needs in regions like the European Union, South Africa, Australia, Mexico, and South America, the integrated navigation system leverages HERE’s extensive global map coverage. Key features include Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which help drivers comply with local traffic regulations and enhance road safety.

MengQing’s solutions have been widely used internationally since the company first exported products to Europe in 2005. With HERE’s continuously updated map intelligence, the collaboration aims to accelerate compliant navigation platform deployment. This simplifies multi-region deployments and future-proofs navigation platforms as vehicles become increasingly software-defined.

The joint solution supports OEMs in accelerating time-to-market by delivering a single, scalable architecture that integrates global map data and real-time services. HERE Technologies, a leader in mapping and location technology, has been innovating for over 40 years. From launching its first digital map in 1985 to shaping the future of software-defined vehicles today, HERE continues to drive progress with its comprehensive portfolio.

MengQing, established in 2004, develops core products according to international standards. The company maintains technical leadership in intelligent mobility solutions, aiming to support global navigation systems with HERE Technologies. Together, they are setting new standards for navigation quality and operational efficiency in the commercial vehicle industry.
