HOYTS Cinemas is set to open a new seven-screen complex at Eaton Fair shopping centre in Western Australia. Scheduled for launch in 2027, the development aims to enhance the entertainment offerings of the growing Bunbury region.
The new cinema will feature advanced technologies, including a D-BOX cinema with haptic seating that moves with the action on screen, Xtremescreen cinemas, and a mix of recliner and lean-back seating options. patrons can enjoy snacks and drinks from Treat City and Artie's Bar.

Eaton Fair Expansion Plans
Eaton Fair's property developer Citygate is overseeing the expansion, which will include over 100 retailers and a vibrant entertainment precinct. According to Michael Prosser, Citygate General Manager, "Eaton Fair Shopping Centre is growing to include over 100 fantastic retailers, centred around a vibrant entertainment precinct featuring restaurants, a modern playground, and a new premium cinema complex."
The expansion is part of HOYTS' ongoing investment in the Western Australian market. Recent initiatives include the introduction of IMAX with Laser at Carousel and refurbishment plans for ACE HOYTS Rockingham. These efforts underline HOYTS' commitment to delivering state-of-the-art entertainment experiences across Australia.
Construction on the new cinema began last year, with its opening set as the final stage of Eaton Fair's development in 2027. This move is poised to create a significant entertainment hub for the greater Bunbury community, attracting moviegoers back to the cinema.
