Event Details and Participation Information

The 2026 Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog is set to take place on Sunday, 17th May, at Pelican Lawn, Albert Park. The event begins bright and early at 7:30 am. Residents of Melbourne are encouraged to participate by walking, jogging, or running to promote brain health and support people impacted by dementia.

This event promises a delightful, family-friendly atmosphere hosted by MCs Takaya Honda and Tully Smyth. With more than 2,760 participants already registered, there is still an opportunity to join. Online registrations are open, and you can also register at the event on the day.

Dementia Australia, the event's organiser, is a key provider of information, education, and services for over 446,500 Australians living with dementia. More than 1.7 million people are involved in their care. Dementia Australia advocates for positive change and supports essential research.

For those unable to attend the Memory Walk & Jog, there is an option to participate in a MyWay event. You can organize a group or individual walk or jog on a date and location of your choice. Register for a MyWay event at www.memorywalk.com.au/get-involved/mw.
