AI Boosts Project Management Efficiency
Procore Technologies has launched a new Common Data Environment (CDE) designed to enhance construction data management using advanced AI capabilities. The announcement was made on 1st June 2026, aiming to unify project data across the construction lifecycle.
This platform integrates Building Information Modelling (BIM), documents, and quality management within a single system. It creates a ‘single source of truth’ for construction projects, allowing real-time data access and coordination.
Lee Miles, General Manager of Procore for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, stated that “connected data is becoming a competitive advantage” as the industry moves beyond digital workflow adoption to improve overall project performance.
AI Transforms Construction Workflows
Procore’s AI capabilities aim to automate construction workflows, reducing administrative tasks related to RFI creation and submittal reviews by up to 50%, according to Alain Waha, Chief Technology Officer of Buro Happold.
The system uses embedded Datagrid intelligence to provide actionable insights from structured datasets, including BIM models and field activity data. This enhances the ability to identify discrepancies and prevent delays.
Procore’s CDE will initially be available in the UK and Ireland, with plans to expand across other European markets. The company will showcase this technology at Digital Construction Week in London from 3rd to 4th June.
Procore’s platform aims to unify and verify project data from approved design to handover, capturing evidence in the flow of work. This helps ensure the digital record aligns with site reality, a key concern for construction teams.
New research from Dodge Construction Network indicates that firms with optimised data practices achieve up to 23% higher productivity. These firms manage 27.8% more construction volume using the same resources and reduce project delays by more than six days.
For European teams operating under ISO 19650 and the Building Safety Act, Procore’s connected record helps provide the defensible audit trail required to meet compliance obligations at every stage.
Agentic AI, powered by Procore, acts across the full construction lifecycle, transforming document storage into an active governance environment. This ensures that approved design connects to site execution seamlessly.
