Australian Grand Prix Announces Madeline’s by Mr Miyagi Team

French frites headline Madeline’s 2026 Formula 1 menu at Albert Park

Madeline’s will join a 30-venue culinary line-up at the 2026 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, operating across the four-day event at Albert Park. The venue marks its first appearance at the Grand Prix and forms part of the broader food and beverage offering across the Motorsport Straight behind the Piastri grandstand.

The concept comes from the team behind Mr. Miyagi and introduces a French-inspired menu adapted for high-volume event service. As part of its debut, Madeline’s will serve a range of portable dishes designed for race-day crowds.

Central to the menu is the Shake Le Steak, which layers golden frites with seared steak and Café de Paris butter inside a sealed shaker. Once closed, the container allows diners to coat the contents evenly before eating. Consequently, the dish transforms a traditional steak frites format into an interactive serving style suited to the event environment.

In addition, the menu features Shake de Chook, which substitutes grilled chicken breast for steak while retaining the frites and Café de Paris butter base. Maddie’s Cheeseburger will also be available, prepared with 100 per cent Australian beef, Swiss cheese, French-style mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato on a toasted potato roll. Furthermore, Fried Chicken and Frites will be served with tarragon crème fraîche.

Kristian Klein, founder of Mr. Miyagi, said the new venture builds on the group’s established approach to reworking classic cuisines. “We have a long history of taking traditional cuisines and giving them our own modern Melbourne twist,” he said. “With Madeline’s, we’re bringing that same energy to French-inspired dishes, and the Shake Le Steak turns steak frites into theatre. It’s playful and becomes just as much about the experience as it is about the food. We can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it.”

The Shake Le Steak will be presented in a signature shaker format exclusive to the event. Therefore, the preparation method supports fast service while maintaining the layered structure of steak, frites and butter.

Madeline’s will operate from Thursday, the 5th to Sunday 8th, during the 2026 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. The venue will be located on the Motorsport Straight behind the Piastri grandstand at Albert Park. Access to the site is available to Grand Prix ticket holders across the event dates.
