Seamless Integration for Enhanced AI Workflows
Cloudera revealed its Workflow Data Fabric Zero Copy Connector for ServiceNow at the Knowledge26 conference in San Jose, California, held on May 5, 2026. This innovative integration allows real-time AI execution securely without the need for data duplication.
By integrating hybrid data lakehouses with intelligent workflows, the connector addresses a significant challenge faced by nearly 80% of companies: incomplete data access that impedes AI initiatives. The announcement underscores the necessity of this development.
“Enterprises cannot scale autonomous AI without being able to prove why decisions are made,” stated Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera. The connector enables enterprises to query data directly at its source, removing traditional data movement requirements and ensuring robust security and governance standards remain intact.
Enhancing AI Execution in Hybrid Environments
The Zero Copy Connector cuts costs by eliminating data movement pipelines and redundant storage. Companies can keep sensitive data secure within protected hybrid environments, complying with regulations like the EU AI Act, DORA, and HIPAA.
Pramod Mahadevan, VP of Data & Analytics Product Ecosystem at ServiceNow, noted, “Cloudera plays a critical role in breaking down data silos by bringing enterprise data into a single, governed platform where it’s already curated, processed, and trusted.” This integration promotes intelligent automation and workflows on the ServiceNow AI Platform, boosting operational efficiency.
The collaboration strengthens the partnership established in 2025 when ServiceNow joined Cloudera’s partner AI ecosystem. The new connector is the first to deliver hybrid-native, zero-copy AI governance integrated with ServiceNow, facilitating the operationalization of AI at scale while maintaining compliance.
Cloudera’s role in breaking down data silos by consolidating enterprise data into a trusted platform is critical. By leveraging these high-quality insights, organisations can drive intelligent automation and workflows, enabling closed-loop remediation that helps quickly identify, address, and resolve issues with greater efficiency and confidence.
Cloudera will feature the connector at Knowledge26, with sessions on May 5 highlighting the integration’s capabilities. Conference attendees can visit Cloudera’s booth, #4514, for more information.
The partnership and the Zero Copy Connector mark significant steps towards solving data access challenges, aligning with the ongoing demand for architectures that bring AI directly to existing data locations without unnecessary data movement.
