Excitement is building for the 2026 Brisbane Memory Walk & Jog, which is just around the corner. This much-anticipated event is set for Sunday, 14th June, at the scenic Rocks Riverside Park. Designed to promote better brain health, it also aims to raise essential funds for dementia support.

Starting bright and early at 7:30 am, participants from across the Brisbane community are encouraged to walk, jog, or run. By taking part, they will not only boost their health but also contribute to the financial support for over 446,500 Australians living with dementia, along with more than 1.7 million carers.

Already, more than 1,420 individuals have registered to join the event. Organizers emphasise that there’s always space for more, as online registrations remain open. Alternatively, attendees can sign up on the event day itself.

Jim Rogers and Takaya Honda will serve as the MCs, ensuring a lively atmosphere. This family-friendly occasion presents a fantastic opportunity for community engagement and enjoyment.

Those unable to attend the main event can still participate by arranging a MyWay event. This option allows individuals or groups to choose their own date and location. Details for registration can be found on the Memory Walk website.
